Mill Creek High School is a high school located in Hoschton, Georgia. It has 3413 students, and the most recent attendance counts have named it the largest school in Georgia.[1] It is fed from Frank N. Osborne Middle School and Glenn C. Jones Middle School. Mill Creek was named for the 4th consecutive year as one of the schools in the Top 5% in the country compared with academics, and test results.[2] The school's motto or "the vision" as they call it is "We view learning as a partnership shared equally among students, parents and faculty. Working together we believe that every student regardlesss of innate ability, race, creed, ethnicity or national origin is capable of making measurable improvement each school year."[3] In August 2004, Mill Creek opened with 2,500 students. Mill Creek High School is an American public high school located in Hoschton, GA. Mill Creek is the largest high school in Georgia.[4] Mill Creek enrolls over 3,400 students, and around 350+ staff members. The school has had to erect 53 trailers around the school to have enough space and classrooms for its many students. Mill Creek is known for having over 100 different student clubs.[5]

Mill Creek currently competes in Region 7-AAAAA and has since 2004. The Girl's Varsity Competition Cheerleading team won the state championship for two consecutive seasons in 2008 and 2009. In 2008 the Varsity Softball team and Girl's Varsity Golf team won the state championships. In 2009, the varsity girl's golf team won the state championship.[6][7]
The Mill Creek Yearbook, The Accipiter, is a member of NSPA and CPA.
The Mill Creek High school newspaper has won many awards during its circulation. The newspaper's original name was "The Current." This was followed by the slogan, "The Current, where the news always flows." This title for the newspaper only lasted from the opening of Mill Creek (2004) until 2005. Mill Creek's mascot is the Hawk, so the paper was then titled "The Hawk Print." In the statewide Journalism Banquet of 2007 "The Hawk Print" came in first place in "Best Art or Illustration," "Best Photography," "Best News Section," and "Most Improved." [10]
